I have put this page together for those people wanting to find their way around Jersey (Channel Islands) using a Satellite Navigation Device and for pin pointing those out of the way places.

For those new to the island most visitor sites are easy to find and there are some very good free road maps. The island is only 9 x 5 miles so even if you get lost you won't go too much out of the way. We have now been several times and are always looking for more places of interest to visit to add to our list.

On our last few visits we have taken our 'Tomtom Go Live 550' to help us find our way around Saint Hélier's one way system as it is a nightmare and for that reason alone it has been a godsend. For some reason Tomtom have not got round to updating the Jersey postcodes so using it as a searching device is not going to work, however their maps work well and all the roads are recorded together with the street names, I believe Garmin is the same so typing in the postcodes is useless. Therefore I have found using map coordinates the best method of getting around the island without getting lost so I would like to share this information with those who are interested.

Please note this is still a 'Work in Progress', many of the coordinates have been tested but some may prove to be approximate. So please do not take these coordinates as factual as they are only my findings. If you type the coordinates into your satnav it should take you to your desired destination or try 'copy and pasting ' into Google Maps to give you an idea of the location.
