Mr. Clare Fisher - After
a long affliction, Brother Fisher has passed
to the "Better Land." He has rendered
splendid work in the East Dereham and neighbouring
Circuits. He was in great request for camp meetings
and school anniversaries in the years past.
possessed of splendid physical, and more than
of the usual intellectual powers, he consecrated
them to the service of his church. His heart
was in the work of preaching the Gospel. Those
who heard him in his prime will not forget his
ernest tones and gestures, his powerful voice
and flashing eye. Baptised by the Spirit of
God, he has been the means of scores of conversions.
He has suffered heavy trouble during the last
years of his life, but his interest in God's
work has never waned. His love for God's World
and prayer continued till the end. Let us all
cherish the memory of his devotion and in the
spirit of Christian love strive to emulate his
great successes in the service of the Gospel.
