1788:- 11th November; Williams Parents were married in Mattishall; Mattishall Reg: Entry 182: Clement Godfrey otp single man and Elizabeth Hatton otp single woman were married bt Banns by John Smith, Vicar. Clement and Elizabeth both signed. Witnesses, William Dade and John Newhouse both signed.
